The Sole Man's Home

Have you not ever wondered how much of nature is there waiting for you to come back and embrace it once again? Or have we already been poisoned by the famous thinking that nature is but a hindrance to industrial progress?
Breezing in, breezing out. 'Tis the breezing sounds of silence that's been too noisy in my head lately. The magical wonders of nature seep in, searching for my soul, as if I don't have a soul. I have, in fact, a soul hungry enough for the nature to perceive, as the bitterness and empty laughs seem evident and vulgar.

The morning breeze seemed musty and the day pretended to be night--rayless and somber--while the night grew colder, pitch dark and lonely. It forewarned, it cautioned and admonished that this is exactly what will become of day and night. We pretended not to hear its cries and fulfilled daily vocations on deaf ears or blind eyes. We chose to be the destructors and even got awarded for it. We continued to destroy as if a curse had been casted upon the earth.

It was I who got possessed by this curse and taken as the slave of the same mischievous sprite that took you. It is I who got trapped by the same snares of the devil that ambushed you. The evil that stops man to live is man himself. Man will have to eat his own race in a dog-eat-dog society. The competition will never end. The true sense of living becomes difficult to realize, until carrying a burden heavy enough for a regular man seems impossible to bear and breaking down as next in line leads to another life’s battle. A battle will only reach another level of the same kind, maybe higher, but not its end. Indeed, a never-ending search for purpose is intrinsic to life and a process that can only cease along with death. But until death, the battle continues. A quest that can stretch enough to its limit or beyond, that leads us nowhere else but backwards. Back to where it has been founded, as if stubbornly elasticized. Don't mistake it for the pull of the devil's fork. It is in fact earth's kind warning when a life’s journey have had its grand time at a certain peak and needs to be left at that. Permit nature to pull you back to where you can appreciate life more. The sole proof that this isn't forever--me writing this and you reading it after I scribble to the last dot--is the fact that there is a quest, a purpose. If there isn’t then I'd be damned!

Let the latent but boorish forces that urged our destruction relinquish its position. These are inauthentic and temporary happiness that took over humanity, or rather drowned this race to misery.

Let complexity be plain given all the evil that remain as the destructor until God knows when. This is a fight that can be won, or lost. The decision is ours, has always been ours. This generation will worsen as sources of survival remain scarce. This generation will provoke the social war. But then again, this battle can be won if and only if we finally and strongly decide to go back to where we started; to square one; to nature. To live simply is the only way one can survive a materialistic world aimed at earth’s obliteration. Leave all worries behind, think of everyday living as a non-complex existence. I reckoned, man is duty-bound to detach himself from the add-ons that fill the world and destroy it altogether. It is our duty to restore and fix, only then shall we regain the right to dwell on earth, or not at all.

Let this sole man’s home become fit for human habitation. Be kinder, simpler, positive, loving and patient. No matter what we choose, in the end we die anyway. So simplify and make it less difficult for the earth to shelter us.
