Bubbly

chocolate and milk in a cup

the clinking of spoon mixing up

a sip, nonetheless, is sheer delight

fingers hovered by its ears and bide

pours and cools that drizzle

sopping and dripping, splatter and fizzle

a jovial rain and that wet blanket sun

thus, smack of bullish days thereupon

A coffee's mate, bread it is not

a good many flicks of this paperback i got

sipping and flipping, swigging and snapping

a good read it is, "Fragile Things"

raindrops or sun-up, a fine day is of your making

stilettos breaking, tights snagging

vehicles honking, all pieces of day-to-day

chocomilk, coffee-book and drizzles, all propitious and gay
